#ChirstmasBooks | Books and the Holiday
"I clicked on it and a Niagara of holiday book idea resources hit me in the face."
Merry Holidays and happy every day to you all!
When the snow starts to fall (for some) and the Starbucks peppermint mocha is back on sale (everywhere in the world), then it is time to get some holiday reading on!
Last week I talked Kickstarter and all the great holiday book projects you can discover and support there like this romantasy book series where you read the story of each of Santa’s kids falling in love (gratuitous marketing).
But this week was going to be about how to plunder social media for holiday reading ideas and I hit such a ridiculous jackpot of info I had to niche down this blog to just that one teeny-tiny source of holiday buying cheer.
I clicked on it and a Niagara of holiday book idea resources hit me in the face.
Look, this blog is me post-surviving said Niagara falls, like Harrison Ford in The Fugitive, and I’m just clearing my sinuses of the overload of info that got pressured up in there from the intensity of it all and I am saying––if you dare, the water’s great!
So what is this great discovery, dear holiday readers?
Go to Instagram and search #christmasbooks.
BOOM!!!
They do have the individual Christmas books in delicious layout, usually accented with a gingerbread cookie and something chocolaty in a mug. But the real gold mine is the LISTS of books.
Master list of this, children’s book list by grade of that. And not just Christmas.
“Matching books to your Favorite Holidays.”
Oodles of people’s Holiday book recommendations.
They have lists any genre (Winter Holiday Romance, Cozy Mystery, etc.)
Even have a holiday book event calendar.
You guys, go there, search click and just have a holiday ball!! (You don’t have to dress up, unless you want to.)
Merry Christmas, all! And see you next week – just two days before Christmas!!!
