But truly Kickstarter is a fantastic place to find holiday books. Especially if you likes the romance.

Want a little Lifetime or Hallmark movie feel in your holiday reading?

You got it! Kickstarter.

And there are those Kickstarters that start and end in December to catch those late-season readers, promising to get your ebook to you before Santa slides down your chimney to nibble on your milk and cookies.

Naw, you need to get your Christmas reading search and stocking-up on months before. Like September.

No joke!

If you are good with your holiday ebooks, go Kickstarter shopping in December. They have some ridiculously good reading options you can get before Christmas in electronic, and then keep the holiday going later in the year with a Christmas -laced surprise in the mail if you also rewarded yourself with an actual book or a fun merch item or two, pack them away special for next season.

But, yes, if you want to really get your holiday reading started, shop in September when the leaves are just starting to turn!

Keep an eye in the Kickstarter market for holiday fun to jazz up your holiday spirit months ahead. And then get presents in the mail for yourself before even the big turkey and family home invasion.
